AIRizona Breathers Club

This air quality is not worth breathing. Join the AIRizona Breathers Club newsletter to stay updated on the battle to clean up our air supply here in the Verde Valley.

This air is caused by the "Prescribed Burning" of a resource that could be turned into jobs and a better environment for the Verde Valley.

Only a little pressure is needed to urge the National Forest Service to change it's policy into new "GREEN JOBS".That is why we are gathering names, to create a list of people who want to urge the new President and the new Congress to take some actions to change the wrong headed policies of the past eight years,

Joining the email newsletter list joins you freely to a group, that is dedicated to applying subtle pressures to Bureaucracy in order to establish some control over what is euphemistically called; 'Control Burns.'

'Control Burns', are now designated as "Prescribed Burns,'' by the National Forest.

You may want to learn more by following these links to more information on the hazards of prescribed burning, the air we breath belongs to us, not the Forest Service. They have taken over our air, without asking, going solely on the guidance from the Bush Administration. In these modern times, we have to give directions to our governments, to get what we want.

Join the AIRizona Breathers Club and be part of the solution.

Once again, smoke from U.S.D.A. Forest Service “controlled burns” has fouled the air in Northern Arizona during what would have otherwise been a beautiful fall season. Last years burns, which began on Aug. 23, have had serious effects on the health of many area residents, even forcing some to stay closed up in their homes for weeks at a time.
